September 20, 2014:    REMEMBERING....... “Gene ‘King Sax” Walker” , a jazz legend...’Cookies, Popcorn & Jazz’ will continue in your honor.....

*Special thanks to Walgreens, our Ultimate Platinum corporate sponsor, and to the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County (ADAMH) for awarding us a mini-grant and to the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) and the City of Columbus for awarding us a project support grant and to Pepsi & KeyBank, our 3rd annual “Cookies, Popcorn and Jazz” sponsors! *Thanks to our cookie contributors - Subway Bexley located at 2910 Main Street, donated 150 scrumptious cookies, Aladdin’s Bexley donated a tasty assorted cookie tray and thanks to Cosmic Kettle Corn who provided our entire popcorn supply contribution.*Thanks to Sam Ash Music store for providing assistance & instruments for the children to sample at our October 4th event. July 19, 2011: The Leola Lucille Travis Foundation was awarded a $1000 grant from the Coalition for a Nonviolent Columbus (CNC) to help fund our first annual “Cookies, Popcorn, and Jazz” event held at Franklin Park on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
